The Challenge
We were approached by a client with a unique task: to design a series of tea tags for a new line of premium Ceylon tea. Her inspiration was a stock photo depicting women harvesting tea on a plantation in Ceylon. Our goal was to capture the spirit of this tradition while infusing the design with a modern, fresh look that would stand out on the retail shelf.

Our Innovative Approach
For this project, we chose an approach that seamlessly blends our expertise in classical graphic design with the power of cutting-edge AI tools.


By leveraging AI-assisted creative processes—further refined through advanced post-production in Adobe Photoshop—we generated a diverse range of tea tag concepts. These ranged from photorealistic interpretations to stylized, modern compositions, proving that we can adapt to any artistic direction, including hand-drawn aesthetics, should the client require it.
Why This Was a Breakthrough
- Versatility: We demonstrated that technology does not restrict us to a single style. We provided the client with a wide spectrum of options, showcasing our ability to pivot between traditional illustration and contemporary minimalism.
- Attention to Detail: When utilized by skilled designers, modern AI tools allow for the creation of textures and color depth that are virtually indistinguishable from manually crafted artwork, while significantly optimizing the production workflow.
- Immersive Visualization: To help the client make an informed decision, we created high-fidelity mockups of the final tags on tea bags. This allowed the client to visualize the final product in a real-world context, streamlining the approval process.
The Result
The collaboration resulted in a collection that successfully bridges the gap between the rich, exotic history of Ceylon and modern premium packaging aesthetics. This project stands as a testament to our commitment to innovation: proving that when human expertise meets advanced technology, the possibilities for brand storytelling are limitless.
